The Shell Cordovan Infantry Combat Boot  is one of the most technically involved pieces to come out of our studio a focused study in accelerated aging.Crafted from shell cordovan, known for its density and luster, each pair undergoes an intensive vintage treatment, including a controlled 4-count wash and dry cycle to break the surface tension, soften the structure, and draw out tonal variation. The process creates natural creasing, depth, and highs and lows in color typically earned through years of wear.No two pairs are alike. What results is a shoe that carries the character of a well-worn favorite while remaining structurally brand new a balance of traditional construction and deliberate material experimentation.

    True to Size:
    The Infantry Lace Up Combat Boot fits true to size. We recommend selecting your regular EU or US size.

    Last & Proportion:
    Built with a slightly wider toe box, this silhouette offers additional room through the forefoot without compromising structure. If you are between sizes, you can confidently size down to the next full size.

    Material & Break-In:
    Crafted from vegetable-tanned horse leather, the upper has a structured hand at first wear and will gradually soften as it adapts to your foot. In the Shell Cordovan versions, the leather will relax subtly with wear, developing depth, character, and natural movement over time.

    Entry & Function:
    A full rear open zipper allows for easy on-and-off access while maintaining the integrity of the lace-up front. The zipper construction ensures convenience without affecting overall fit.

    Width:
    Standard width with a naturally accommodating forefoot due to the last shape.

    Longevity of Fit:
    With continued wear, the leather will conform to your foot’s contours, creating a more personalized fit while maintaining structural support.

    Recommendation:
    Available in full sizes only. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
