DEODATO ANKLE BOOT


Inspired by the shifting proportions of Western footwear in the ’60s and ’70s, Deodato sits somewhere between a traditional cowboy boot and a dress shoe. A shortened shaft, elongated toe and curved paneling define its silhouette, stripped of the usual Western ornamentation.Constructed from full-grain horse leather, each pair undergoes an extensive washing process, breaking the original black into uneven shades of charcoal and smoke. A Japanese YKK EXCELLA® rear zipper keeps the silhouette uninterrupted.Bringing together years of experimentation across our previous footwear, Deodato incorporates our leather treatments, washing techniques and sole construction into a single design. Underneath, a full leather outsole meets a substantial stacked leather heel, combining Western and Cuban heel proportions. Each heel is individually distressed and scored by hand.

    The full-grain horse leather offers a structured feel that gradually softens and conforms to the foot with wear. Our washing process gives the leather an already lived-in appearance, with variations in grain, creasing and tone that will continue to develop over time.


    SIZE & FIT

    The Deodato Ankle Boot fits true to size. Due to its elongated, narrow toe, we recommend sizing up if you're between sizes to allow for a more comfortable fit.


    For example, if you typically wear a US 9.5, we recommend selecting a US 10 (EU 43).

    The full-grain horse leather will gradually soften and conform to your foot with wear, providing a more personalized fit over time.


    FIT & WEARABILITY

    The shortened shaft and elongated toe create a streamlined silhouette that sits comfortably between traditional Western footwear and a dress boot. The rear zipper allows for easy entry while maintaining the uninterrupted shape of the upper.


    FINISH & AGING

    Each pair undergoes an individual washing and finishing process, producing subtle differences in color, grain and surface texture. The leather will continue to develop its own patina with wear, while the hand-scored leather heels will naturally acquire additional character.


    Due to the individual finishing process, no two pairs will be exactly alike.
