A tribute to both our past and our future.

The Davis Loafer represents an ongoing exploration of traditional footwear, revisiting familiar silhouettes through a different approach to construction and design.

Part slip-on, part derby, the Davis exists somewhere between the two. Combining elements of a traditional penny loafer with the structure of a four-eyelet blucher, the design balances the ease of a slip-on with the familiarity of a lace-up shoe.Built around a rounded last with a generous forefoot, the Davis incorporates our familiar Vibram outsole and Goodyear welt construction. The upper is crafted from smooth Italian vegetable-tanned calfskin, selected for its natural character and ability to develop with wear.

Handmade in Italy, each pair reflects our continued interest in reinterpreting classic menswear footwear while maintaining the construction and material qualities that define Orée.

The Davis is both a question and a celebration of our progression as a brand.

    SIZING & FIT

    The Davis Loafer runs one full size large. We strongly recommend sizing down one full size from your usual footwear size.

    Last & Shape

    The Davis Loafer is constructed on a rounded, generously proportioned last, offering ample room throughout the forefoot and toe box. The overall fit is standard in width, with a slightly more generous forefoot than traditional dress shoes.

    Width & Instep

    The Davis accommodates standard-width feet comfortably, while its rounded toe box provides additional room for wider forefeet. The four-eyelet open derby lacing system allows for adjustments across the instep, accommodating different foot shapes and volumes.

    Leather & Break-In

    Constructed from Italian vegetable-tanned calfskin, the upper has a structured feel when first worn. With regular wear, the leather gradually softens, molds to the natural shape of the foot, and develops a unique patina.

    The Davis requires a relatively short break-in period. The fit will relax slightly over time as the leather becomes more supple.

    Between Sizes

    If you typically fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size. Due to the generous proportions of the last and the natural softening of the leather, sizing up is not recommended.

    Our Recommendation

    • Order one full size down from your usual size.

    • If you typically wear EU 43 / US 10, select EU 42 / US 9.

    • Standard-width feet should follow the one-size-down recommendation.

    • Customers with wider forefeet benefit from the rounded toe box and adjustable derby lacing.

    • Expect the vegetable-tanned calfskin to soften and conform to your feet with wear.

    • Available in full sizes only, EU 40–46.
