Handmade in Italy from vegetable-tanned calf leather, the Ayers is a dual loafer-mule hybrid that merges classic tailoring with everyday utility. It carries the clean lines and hand-stitched apron of a traditional loafer, paired with a backless, slip-on profile for effortless wear. The elasticated heel detail ensures a secure fit while preserving the relaxed ease of a mule, making it versatile enough for both indoor and outdoor use.
Built on a Goodyear-welted sole for longevity and easy resoling, the Ayers is finished with a stacked leather midsoleand full leather outsole, designed to age beautifully and mold to the shape of the wearer’s foot over time.

    True to Size: The Ayers fits true to size — we recommend selecting your regular European or US size.

    Break-In & Feel: Crafted from vegetable-tanned calfskin leather, the upper is structured yet supple and will gradually soften with wear, molding to your foot for a tailored, glove-like fit over time.

    Slip-On Silhouette: The loafer-mule hybrid design combines effortless wearability with everyday support. An elasticized heel offers a secure fit initially and will gently relax as it adapts to the shape of your foot.

    Barefoot or Sock-Friendly: The smooth leather lining allows for versatile wear with or without socks, adapting easily to seasonal changes and personal preference.

    Width: Standard width with a slight amount of give as the leather breaks in. Those with wider feet may consider sizing up for optimal comfort.

    Longevity of Fit: Over time, the calfskin will develop a rich patina and conform more closely to the contours of your foot, enhancing both comfort and character.
